Visiting Cyclists / Triathletes

You’re coming to Dublin either on vacation or for a short-term work placement and cycling or triathlon is your sport. You know working away from home can mean long hours, endless meetings and late nights plus a lack of exercise on top of this can leave you feeling lethargic and lacklustre.

You’d love to be able to get in some cycle training when you’re in Dublin but you’ve limited available time and don’t want the hassle that comes with trying to organise this. Where to rent a bike? Will I have to pick up the bike and where? Will it be the right fit, or will I end up with an uncomfortable ride? What to do for a computer and pedals? What are the best routes? How do I negotiate my way out of the city? What to do if I get lost?

Set between rolling hills and the sea, Dublin is a wonderful city for keen cyclists of all performance levels. Founded in 2019, Velo Rides 4 U offers ‘plug & play’ cycle training for busy executives and vacationers who don’t want to miss out on their favourite sport of cycling whilst working or on vacation in Dublin.

Our ‘plug and play’ cycling service offers a one stop shop for all your cycle training needs, maximising your bike ride time by keeping it simple for you. Together we plan your training route/distance in advance, pick you up and drop you back to your accommodation/workplace and accompany you throughout the ride. You’ll have the use of one of our fleet of high specification bikes, sized in advance to your requirements with your chosen pedal system and Garmin computer.

We’ll also ensure you have sufficient snacks and refreshments for the ride.

We can promise as challenging a training ride as you wish to tackle on a one-to-one or small group basis (max 4 riders) on quiet roads with fantastic scenery around each bend.

Get in touch with the date and time that suits you, the type of terrain you’d like to experience (hilly/flat/coastal/mixed) and how long you want to ride for. Then leave the rest to us. All you need are your cycling shoes, helmet and cycling gear (helmets can be supplied at an additional fee) and you’re good to go.
